Radon Testing That Gives You a Clear Answer
Maplewood, South Orange & Essex County
Radon cannot be seen or smelled. I test the home, explain the result plainly, and make sure you understand what it means before you decide what comes next.
I am a New Jersey DEP-certified radon measurement technician. I set up and retrieve the test, confirm the required conditions when applicable, and provide clear results without making the process feel more complicated than it needs to be.
When Radon Testing Makes Sense
- During a home purchase or sale
- When a home has a basement, crawlspace, or other low level
- When prior test results are unavailable or no longer representative
What Happens After the Test
Radon results do not make a home pass or fail. If the result is at or above the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L, I recommend consulting a qualified radon mitigation contractor about the appropriate next step.
Buying a home involves enough unknowns. A radon test gives you one clear piece of information to work with.
