Sewer Scope Inspections That Show You More
Maplewood, South Orange & Essex County
A sewer scope can reveal conditions that are not visible during a standard home inspection. I use a camera to look at the accessible sewer line and explain what I see in plain language.

When a Sewer Scope Is Worth Considering
- During a home purchase when the condition of the line is unknown
- For older homes or properties with large nearby trees
- When there are signs of slow drains, backups, or past sewer work
What I Look For
I look for visible conditions in the accessible line, such as roots, cracks, offsets, standing water, or obstructions. A camera inspection does not repair the line or guarantee its future performance, but it can give you useful information before you move forward.
Clear Information for the Next Conversation
I explain what the camera shows and let you know when a qualified sewer professional should be involved. It is one more way to understand the property before closing instead of finding out later.
